US Open Tennis Tournament
The incomparable Roger Federer successfully defended the men’s championship in 2008, outlasting Andy Murray in the finals. Like Lleyton Hewitt, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick and Djokovic before him, Murray was no match for Federer’s all-court wizardry or his steely resolve.
On the women’s side, it was Serena Williams 6-4, 7-5 victory over Jelena Jankovic for her third US Open title that brought applause and cheers raining down on her from over 20,000 people in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
You can enjoy the highest attended annual event in sports with tickets for 3rd round Men's and Women's action on Saturday, September 5. You'll see the action on the main Arthur Ashe Stadium court, as well as Louis Armstrong Stadium and all side courts.
