About Convene Conference Center (Formerly the Sentry Center)
Convene is a conference facility occupying the entire 22nd and 23rd floors of 810 7th Avenue in the heart of the Times Square Theatre District. Convene’s windows wrap on all 4 sides, providing magnificent views of New Year's Eve in Times Square, up and down both Broadway and 7th Avenue. The facility is totally non-smoking.
The New Year’s Eve Gala will be on both the 22nd and 23rd floors. DJ music will be provided on only one level. TVs and bars will be on both levels.
Convene is located at 810 7th Avenue, between 52nd and 53rd Streets, directly across 7th Avenue from the Sheraton New York Hotel and 10 short blocks from the Ball Drop. Since the facility is located within the Times Square Security Check-Point area, you will be provided with documentation and instructions on how to enter the Times Square area and Convene.
Although there is no dress code for this event, we do suggest you “dress to impress.”
There is no minimum age for guests at this event; however New York State laws forbid the consumption of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21.
Important Information for INSIDER'S functions: This exclusive event has limited availability. NYCVP cannot guarantee unobstructed views of the Ball Drop; views are "first-come, first-served". In order to provide maximum viewing space there is no table seating at the windows. It is the intention of NYCVP to provide a convivial atmosphere during this special event, including food, drinks, private restroom facilities, warmth and indoor protection from the weather, and admission into the Times Square area. Since streets are closed to traffic and pedestrian movement is limited by the NYPD, NYCVP will provide instructions for admission.
Convene Conference Center is a secure facility. Picture ID is required for admittance to the event. Guests who don’t provide picture ID, or who don’t possess the proper documents issued by NYCVP and/or its affiliates, will be refused admittance. There will be no refunds in such cases.
NYCVP, including its employees and agents, reserves the right to deny access to and/or remove with no refund individuals whom NYCVP deems unruly or disruptive.
