I have been on a couple of tours and Chris was by far the best tour guide I have ever had. His knowledge of the city and his ability to express this knowledge was phenomenal. He gave us the history of the city and I found myself hanging on to his every word. He was funny and willing to answer questions. When we did our walking tour he explained the subway process to us and made sure we were on the same page as far was what we expected to happen and then what actually did happen. I never felt afraid and felt that I left with a love for the city. I have to admit, it was because of him. I didn't get that overwhelming feeling of confusion one might get. I had the impression that our vacation experience was his top priority. Because of this, I felt at home in NYC and I just cannot wait to come back. You may already know this story but I want to express my recent experience with nyctrip.com. It was my first time to book my entire trip with your service so I really didn’t know what to expect. I was very busy and very late in making selections on times etc. but you worked with me and we got it done. You fed-exed my travel documents to my home the day before departure. However in my haste I left without the documents. When I got to New York I called nycvp and told the supervisor what had happened. This was Friday afternoon about 3pm. Your people said not to worry. They faxed the travel vouchers to the restaurants, theaters and Yankee Stadium and took care of every detail so that all I had to do was show up and I was taken care of like a VIP. I have never had such great service in my life. The theater tickets were excellent seats, the fixed price menus were the best food I have ever had anywhere. "Hi Bethany, I just wanted to say that we loved our New York City trip thanks to you and nycvp. My daughter and I were running the entire time we were there. . . so much to do and see. We loved everything from the broadway show "Wicked" to the garment district tour. We also managed to go to the Metropolitan and to get to "Ground Zero" among other sites. The hotel was in a great location and we walked as far as we could including Times Square, 5th ave. Madison ave. and the fringes of Central Park. We caught the subway and even managed a small trip to Soho. Even though I initially booked the garment district tour with another company I'm glad that it didn't work out. The tour guide from Gotham tours was quite knowledgeable providing tours to a good mix of design locations for all ages. She was even so gracious as to help us find the location of a new shop in Soho that was a "must see" for my daughter. Please keep using them if you can.

Our two reasons for NYC were Phantom and carriage ride in C.P.: Had second row seats at "Phantom of the Opera" and it was sensational. Even though seen twice at Wang Theatre in Boston, this was simply great. My wife and I both said we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Simply Fantastic evening. Dinner at Langan's and Phantom.
Carriage ride in Central Park was great. Wished longer time but driver pointed out lots of things and let us feed the horse and was very pleasant. Once finished we took a stroll in park. Wife wants to got back and spend a day there.
"Top of the Rock" was great with a bright sunny day and clear views in every direction. So good we did not go to Empire State building, maybe next trip.
Dinner at Cafe Nicole was very good plus had a terrific view of Times Square from about the fifth floor. Langan's was very good, Planet Hollywood lunch was nice. Breakfast at Lindy's was very nice, and we went back another morning. Never made it to Applebee's.
The NYCVP tour guide for Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island was hilarious and kept everyone laughing. Darryl was his name I think. But he didn't make clear when he was turning us loose and I think he missed out on tips. Did a great job explaining everything and getting us on subway and to the Statue. The standing in line for security was way too long. Actually found my family name on one of the displays at Ellis Island.
As for parking, there was a CENTRAL PARKING garage at 1335 Avenue of the
Americas. Right next to the Hilton New York and the Sheraton. Not sure these were on the list provided but that made it easy. A pleasant surprise cause I thought 57th street was going to be closest parking.
Room at Hilton was small and this was surprising since the desk clerk said he was upgrading the room to Hilton Honors. But the bed was very comfortable. We slept great. I was not impressed with Hilton at all, next time we'll try Sheraton next door. Besides Sheraton faces 7th ave and right next to Lindy's. I guess hinting about anniversary meant nothing.....LOL.
Hard to believe it's over since we had been looking forward to this for quite a while.

would like to thank you for all your help on our trip. Everything pre-arranged was so simple and easy, worked like clockwork and it removed a lot of the stress of our trip. We had fabulous weather and covered a lot of ground in our 5 days. We had so much fun and are hoping to come back again!
Loved the Edison and the location. Would stay there again for sure. Four ladies and all our stuff managed very well in the room.They gave us two queen beds and wasn't sure if you intercepted on our behalf or they were just considerate and upgraded us from Queen/hideabed to the 2 queen beds.The Lion King was wonderful and now in hindsight I understand the importance of pre-ordering seats. Would loved to have seen Wicked, Billy Elliot or Carnage of God. As it was, we picked up some 1/2 price tickets for two other plays and enjoyed them and the cheesecake afterwards.
Really liked the Harlem tour and I would spend more time in Harlem next
trip. The guide was truly excellent and bilingual as well. Not a requirement for us, but we hear French so much here that it was a nice and unexpected touch.
The trip was truly fabulous and that is what it was supposed to be. Not sure when the next trip will be, but we will look you up! Regards from your Canadian friends"

"I don't know how you did it, but we had 1st and 2nd row seats for the shows. What a blast! We were right next to the conductors and they both interacted with us. Ted was ecstatic. It took us hours to calm down after they were finished. Billy Elliott is a must.
We did Guggenheim, Met, Amer Natural History, Empire State, Statue of Liberty, FAO Schwartz, Stage Deli, etc. The line at MoMA was too long. Just no time even though it was across the street from the hotel.
...Hotel was first class. We easily walked to the shows and much else.

"Celia, I have to tell you just how much we all enjoyed our holiday in New York City. IT WAS TOTALLY MAGICAL!! I really don't have the words to tell you just how much fun we actually had. The guide, Georgina, for the Ground Zero and Statue of Liberty was so informative for all the little things we didn't know or have forgotten about. We all give her a 10. We did South Pacific which was very good and we also picked up tickets to Wicked. The show was so amazing it left us speechless! The weather was great. I do have to tell you we were out late one night, the huge snowflakes were in the air so we decided that was what Christmas in the city was all about.
We did have issues getting home, but that was totally the fault of the airlines. They need to polish their communication skills with their customers. We ended up getting a limo ride to Green Bay from Milwaukee.
All and all we had a terrific time and we owe that all to YOU! THANK YOU for everything that you did! We hope to return to NYC again and you will be the first one that we call.

"Beth, Just wanted to let you know Andrea and I returned home this past Tues. from our trip. We had a fantastic time. I believe I told you I have heard from Andrea for 20 years that she wanted to "see NYC." I think we accomplished that assignment very well. Between the activities we scheduled with you and things I planned on my own, she was a very happy and tired camper when we got back to Phoenix.
The Palace Hotel was fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone
staying in Manhattan. Same goes for seeing South Pacific. We enjoyed the show so much we also saw Jersey Boys while we were there, which was also great. Andrea also did a good job of stimulating the economy of SOHO, China Town and Little Italy.
The tour of Ground Zero, Statute of Liberty and Ellis Island was very surreal for me, and maybe my favorite part. We ended up taking over 6 hours doing that. The Empire State building and Rockefeller Center were also amazing. I had seen most of this stuff when I was 11 years (over 39 years ago), but all much more impressive as an adult.
Andrea and I also enjoyed the carriage ride around Central Park and lunch at Tavern on the Green. I must tell you the Tavern on the Green was the most disappointing part of our trip. Although the atmosphere was very nice, the food was so-so at best, and the staff worked very hard to portray the rude and obnoxious attitude New Yorkers are famous all over the world for. Actually, that was the only time in our 5 days there we experienced that attitude.

The Walking Tour of Ground Zero could not have been better. My husband is a firefighter and was very interested in this tour and our guide Marc Landman did an outstanding job! He gave so much information and insight through the whole tour. We had a very small group --which was very nice and were able to have that personal attention on the tour. We saw Mamma Mia and had incredible seats and enjoyed the show so much! Also the 2 day ticket for the sightseeing buses gave us a chance to see all of the sites we wanted.

The game was great, but all the extras with Chris made the trip especially memorable. The information he shared about New York, Yankee history and personal info was fantastic. First of all our booking agent Joby Tuminelli was very helpful and provided us all the information and options we needed/wanted. The process was easy and assuring.
We purchased a Yankee package from NYCVP. The bus ride hosted by Chris Lucas was invaluable. He provided us much more than a bus ride to the Yankee game. He provided us some insider tips we would not have known otherwise (i.e.: Celebrity homes, movie locations, schools etc...) and also gave us a tour of buildings etc... that we would not have seen. His story telling abilities were very enjoyable. The transportation to and from the game was very smooth. We were traveling with children and I was concerned that it would be complicated but the tour went smooth for everyone.
I will definitely recommend NYCVP to others and check you out again on our next trip to New York!

"I recently attended the Yankees/Blue Jays event with my 8 yr. old son and I wanted to pass along some accolades to NYCVP for providing the perfect experience for us both to share in the magical moment of being able to watch our favorite team (Jays) at famous and historical Yankee stadium. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, it was made that much more special by Chris Lucas. He was an amazing tour guide, he took us on a wondrous ride through the city on our way to Yankee stadium along the way he provided a fantastic overview of the city's history and it's local residents. He made it so interesting and entertaining that my 8 yr. old seemed to be focused on his every word of every story he had to share with us. Chris was also very accommodating and helpful at every moment during the whole time he was with us, super individual!
We stayed at the Sheraton Towers on 52nd and we were quite pleased with the accommodations and the level of service the quality was great, very clean. Overall we had a fabulous time in NYC and we have NYCVP to thank for it all. I would consider purchasing a similar package in the future.
P.S. Only one disappointing issue, had to pay $5.32 to get our NYC package at the hotel business center, not sure why the cost of the courier was not absorbed.

"Hello, My dad and I were part of the tours to the Yankee games on August 29 and 30. Both guides were very good, but Chris Lucas on the Saturday afternoon game was especially excellent. We enjoyed his extensive knowledge of the city as we drove through it, and of the Yankees history. We felt that as part of the tour we were getting some extras that we would have missed out on had we simply found tickets and transportation on our own.
Big thanks also to Joby who helped us get organized and didn't mind answering my 1000 questions leading up to the trip.
The only downside was that the tour bus didn't collect us from our hotel, the Double Tree in Jersey City, so we had to make sure to be at the Sheraton at the appointed time. For some reason I thought it did. I understand now why the bus leaves only from the Sheraton, it is in the middle of the action in midtown, and is a manageable distance to drive to the stadium. Either I misread this part of the package, or it is something to make a point of mentioning more clearly in the documentation.
Other than this minor thing, the entire package was great, it was the first time either of us had been to NYC and will surely be a weekend we look back on fondly. Thanks for a great time!"

I would first like to give praises to Travel Agent Beth Tenenbaum. She was tremendous in helping me plan and achieve a dream of mine since 1974. That dream came true on Friday June 20, 2008. I attended a baseball game in Yankee Stadium where my boyhood hero had played before his tragic death. That hero was Thurman Munson, catcher, just like I was at 9 years old. Mrs. Tenebaum was patient, honest, helpful, and hard working keeping up with the changes I would make and the emails I would send. I cannot thank her enough for my first trip to New York City and to that ballgame. Her suggestions of transportation to and from the airport were outstanding, the choice of hotel was a perfect place and her no pressure attitude to let me tell her what I was wanting and then she made it so it would happen. For a small town, and I mean small town (Goggle Madison Florida some day we are really small) boy like me to go to his boyhood hero's ballpark and see his number retired and plaque in Monument Park was almost too much for this country boy. I probably cried 6 maybe 7 times in the ballpark.
Next I must sing the praises of Chris Lucas. How lucky can a guy be to have the most knowledgeable person about the Yankees tell me all about them on my way to the Stadium. He was great. He was beyond friendly, his was a fan that wanted to give his knowledge to me so I could understand. He was amazing. I do have something maybe the tour could consider for the future. Because of his vast knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge maybe the group could leave earlier from the hotel and allow him more time to talk about the Yankees and the different sights on the way before getting to the park and maybe get to the park when the Yankees are beginning batting practice. Please don't get me wrong it was GREAT when we got there. It just seems Chris has so much knowledge and insight you should be given more of an opportunity to share that. And the people would be able to see the entire Yankees team take batting practice and warm up and run around and not just the last remaining 4-5 players. Just something to think about. I must tell you though Chris was patient and waited some extra time at the hotel for people who were supposed to be on the bus but never showed up. He was great. Chris, the tour, the Stadium, it all was amazing and the GREATEST trip I've ever taken.
I will go back to New York and I will use your company again. I hope that I will be able to use Beth as my representative. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her work and effort and the work and effort of Chris. They are great assets that made my first trip to New York a most memorable and meaningful one. Our stay at the Sheraton could not of been better... We attended a performance of "Wicked" and the seats were fantastic along with the performance. The second thing I wanted to ask is about the Thanksgiving Day Parade package. There was a family from Pennsylvania on the tour that did this once and they recommended it to me. They mentioned that they had a Brunch at the Marriott Marquis hotel where they were able to see the Parade on their way to Macy's. For this particular tour, I could arrive in NY on Wednesday, November 26 , stay overnight , but I probably would have to return to NJ on Thursday evening. Right now, I do not know if I can have Friday off, but I will try to get Friday the 28th off so I can stay longer. I hope you can do just one night at the hotel, just in case I can't stay over on Thursday.
I hope I am not too late in requesting these activities.

We have been meaning to write but have been busy with an illness in the family. I would like to take a minute now, however, and thank you again for making our vacation in New York just fantastic. We were there the week of April 21 and signed up for two tours through AAA. First, let me say that New York exceeded everything we expected. The city is clean and the people very friendly. We love it and plan on visiting again.
Our first tour was a walking tour of Ground Zero and the Brooklyn Bridge. As it turned out, our family (all 3 of us) were the only ones signed up for the tour. We didn’t know what to expect but the tour guide, Hal Glicksman, took lots of time with us, gave us a lot of history and local information and made the tour very special for us. He also gave us some dining recommendations that turned out very well. We would like to thank him again. What a great guy!
A couple of days later, we took the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island walking tour. I can’t recall our tour guide’s name now, but she was great. I do remember that she is a Mets fan. She took us to Wall Street before we boarded the ferry, so we got an extra treat on that tour also.
This was the only vacation we have ever taken where everything was perfect. Nothing went wrong and we would not change any part of it. Your tours helped make it that way. Thanks again."

The photo walking tour was great, Mark was a hoot, informative and great pictures, best investment I made on my trip! The show Hairspray was great and funny, very entertaining. The slice of Brooklyn tour was exceptional, the wife and I loved the pizza and Tony (tour guide) was outstanding! The lower Manhattan walking tour was very moving also. Martin the tour guide was very kind and called though to see if we were going to make it. The Helmsley was also a great experience and in a great location for our daily outings.

"My name is RP, my wife and I just got home from our first trip to New York City. I went through my local travel agent, Central Travel in Findlay Ohio. They set my trip up though you. I can tell you that has been the best trip I've ever been on. Everything was set up great. The Hotel (Novotel) couldn't have been in a better location. Right in Time Square. Transportation from Airport to Hotel and back was also on time. (Blue Van) Both drivers were very nice. The Lion King ticket that you got us were awesome. FRONT ROW. The Greyline tour was great. The host on each bus knew their stuff. Where to go and where to eat. It was great hearing all the history about NY and all the buildings. Also in NY I got to see couple places, I've always wanted to see, Lady Liberty. and also where King Kong was hanging from (Empire State Building) What a view from up there. While there we also seen a taping of Dave Letterman.
The only hang up while we were there was the water was shut off, in the hotel on Wed. Jan 16 for repair and we wanted to clean up a little more before we went to see The Lion King. I just wanted to say thanks again. When we come back to NY city I will be booking with you again."

We had a beautiful view of Times Square from our room on the 31st floor and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Great location. I thought I'd be a little scared out on the streets but never felt afraid at all and I thought it was very clean. The New Yorkers that we met were so helpful and friendly which is not the reputation that they have here in Texas. Everyone should visit New York at least once...We both loved lots of things about NY but we especially enjoyed the area around Central Park. My husband really enjoyed the talent of the young people that sing at Ellen's Stardust Diner. He is a teacher and loves young people. In fact, it was so amazing. We met one of his students from here, the Dallas area, on the streets in NY. He was also visiting there with his parents. We were shocked. Just that morning my husband had said to me, 'wouldn't it be something if we ran into someone we know?' and I was like 'Yea, right.' And sure enough we did. We saw them again at Serendippity. So fun."

"We had a blast in NYC!!!! Spamalot was one the best musical’s (Mama Mia maybe up there with it) I have seen. Our faces were hurting when we left and the seats were excellent. The double Decker bus ride is an absolute to see the city from a different perspective, while getting tid-bits of history. I have been to NYC many times and never done it...so glad we did! It also saves you cab rides, as you can get on and off at any time! We wandered the streets without plans on Wed and Thurs falling into Hell’s Kitchen and having great food at really reasonable prices. The fog lifted just in time for our dinner cruise on Saturday night ...We had big fun and met some really interesting folks, from locals to a barrister from Scotland. We ducked into a local brew pub during a Yankee’s baseball game one night and got a real taste of what baseball means to a NYC local…more fun...I am so glad we did this trip. It pulled Bob right out of his "I am 60 Funk!" We can’t wait to go back!! Oh..and a buddy up-graded us to first class as a gift to Bob…that was very cool! Thanks again for your help! The ride to NYC was comfortable and fast. We loved the Warwick Hotel. Although we arrived early, the hotel staff made us feel comfortable and they stored our luggage until check in time. We took advantage of the free passes to visit the Museum of Natural History and the Empire State Building. We went downtown to the South Street Seaport and over to Ground Zero to pay our respects. The Waldorf Astoria was absolutely magnificent...we even got upgraded to a 2-room suite when there was a problem with our first room assignment. The Waldorf treated us like royalty and I would stay there again for sure. Being away from the bustle of Times Square and Broadway was a welcome relief. The limo to JFK was elegant and he offered us snacks and drinks during the ride. The limo driver who picked us up from JFK should have been more accommodating, but one glitch in an otherwise flawless trip is definitely no big deal. Our theater tickets to both plays, Hairspray and A Raisin In The Sun, were superb...thanks for getting us great seats to great shows (the women in the play more than made up for P. Diddy's bad acting !!!). This is the first trip where every item planned through you was better than I anticipated. I kept waiting for a big snafu, but everything was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and see all that we didn't see this trip. My favorite time was dinner at Tavern On The Green and a horse & buggy ride through Central Park. Anytime we requested something, the staff was right on top of it. DoubleTree was in the best location for our plans, as we were able to walk everywhere we went. 1. Flights/seats were great.
2. Our room overlooked the sparkle of Times Square.
3. The play (Chicago) was terrific - seats outstanding!
4. The Harbor Lights Cruise was breathtaking (especially as we came to the Statue of Liberty). I shed more than one tear seeing her (and Ground Zero the next day).
5. The Manhattan Comprehensive Tour was well worth the time & $. It would have taken weeks to see all that on our own.
6. Dinner at Tavern on the Green was especially memorable (that would be my favorite restaurant for special occasions if I lived there) ...

Our Hotel "Park Central" was in a nice location, Near the park, and not to far from Time Square. We just wish we had more time to see more of Manhattan. Just to confirm that the holiday was fantastic. This was the forth time my daughter and myself and second for my brother, but the Embassy Suites was by far the best hotel for value and service. I would highly recommend the Embassy Suites for anyone staying in New York and should I go again it would be top of my list.
The complimentary cook to order breakfast, evening drinks and hors d’oeuvres is a real money saver. When we have previously stayed in New York, it was always pretty central however staying down at the Embassy Suites caused no problems in getting around as the subway proved so easy to get to places and I couldn’t believe how cheap it is compared to London, $2 for a ride.
Apart from a mistake that I made on the date for the helicopter ride, I thought the 24th was a Sunday and not Monday and we turned up a day early, all went fine.
Although we didn’t book the NY Knicks basketball tickets through NYCVP, we managed to get tickets after queuing up, and it was brilliant.
I can guarantee that if we go again, I will be using NYCVP and the Embassy Suites again and I will be passing all my comments on to all my friends. The only thing for next time is that I will ask for NYCVP to get my Knicks tickets."

I am travelling to NY on the 28th February for 5 nights. My Party includes 5 adults and 1 baby(2 couples 1 with baby and 1 single). We wish to book some good quality accommodation. We are very familiar with New York having lived and worked there for a number on years. However we
always seem to make a mistake as to the accommodation and would like some recommondations from you. We would like preferably a hotel, midtown would be good but not by any means necessary. Location is not as important as the actual accommodation, something of high standard and which will at the very least provide tea making facilities in the rooms (ie bottles for the
young baby)and a cot /crib in 1 of the rooms. Again preferably we would like 3 adjoining rooms, with windows over looking a street or avenue.

"Tara...Thank you so much for all your help with my first tour! Everyone has talked about doing it again next year and getting friends to go so we'll see how many we can sign up. Now I'll know how to schedule it all. We just hope for fabulous weather next time, too. The hotel is a great location especially for the coach pick-ups and the coaches were all on time and very accommodating - Kramer coach (to/from the Open) got an A++. Legally Blonde was terrific. Even the men enjoyed it as there was plenty of eye candy. It was just a fun and entertaining play for all. The Open seats were quite high up in the stands but nobody complained. I told them we didn't get our numbers in time to qualify for lower promenade and everyone was OK with that. We all just liked being on the grounds and watching the side court matches. It was an easy-going group with no problems although we did have to change one passenger to another for the flights - good thing it was a group ticket there. Let me know when you get enough NYC 2008 info for another Open package. I'll probably start with a flyer in January or sooner, if you think that would be helpful. Regards."

We're back! We had a great time and want to thank you for all you did to make everything a happy memory for us. We want to tell you about everything we liked. I know you don't want to hear it all, but we figure it will help to share our experiences with others who might be planning a trip. Feedback as it were.
My family loved the vouchers...with everything prepaid, we felt like we here traveling as honored guests. The DoubleTree worked perfectly for the 3 of us and the staff was very accommodating... especially our maid Carmen (she even left us thank you notes for being so neat!), the doormen (always cheerful, professional and informative) and the attendants (ready to get us a cab, provide directions, help in any way). The concierge was helpful as well (made calls to set up our transfers). The room was comfortable, provided all of the amenities that we desired and was 22 floors away from most of the street noise (higher is definitely better). The hotel was perfectly situated to everything we wanted to do and we walked everywhere from there.
The Grayline bus tour provided a great way to observe the city and we explored much based on what we saw on this tour. The tour operators were very knowledgeable...
We enjoyed the variety of the many experiences as well. We visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and took the ride up the Empire State Building to the Observatory. The pageantry of the Lion King was something to see, but the comedy and musical precision of Stomp was definitely our favorite.
All of our cab drivers were quick, efficient and fun to talk with. We learned about their work, their families and their hopes and dreams as they came from Haiti, India, and Bangladesh.
So many of our meals were so very good. We can't say enough about Broadway Joe's and Langans. The food was better than fantastic and the people there took such good care of us.. Especially Franco at Broadway Joe's. Hurley's was also very good... the best cheesecake ever. When we missed our original reservation, they were very kind about our showing up very late....like 4 hours. They just joked and said they missed us and brought out the best food... Stopped at Ray's Pizza and it was great.
The flight was great. Would also recommend the Embraer 145 jet. It was quiet and you could keep your bags close... at least in Greensboro. They took them (the larger bags) at the gate and returned them to you as you disembarked. At Laguardia we had to check them but that was fine too. Checking in with an e-ticket is definitely the way to go. Getting to the airport too early is a waste of time. At Greensboro we were ready to go 15 minutes after we arrived...it took 30 minutes at Laguardia. I guess you still have to be sure, however.
The trip to the top of the Empire State building and our meandering the halls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art were equally inspiring. We saw Usher at MTV and Norah Jones at the Today show and had our pictures shown on a billboard at Times Square. We ferried over to see Lady Liberty and found our family name at Ellis Island. Everything we've seen on TV, we now have our own personal reference point. We loved the architecture and were intrigued by the workings of the city.
I'm still tired so I'm sure I've missed something or haven't explained it very well, but the short of it is, we were very pleased with our trip and we appreciate everything that you and NYCVP tours did to make it special and hassle free. Thanks!"

We had a Fantastic time. The Park Central Hotel was nice, missed having a mini fridge and microwave though. The staff was very friendly and helpful and a great location.
I would say our favorite part was the Ground Zero and Statue of Liberty Tour. You just don't get the full experience without the tour!!! Tony did a wonderful job!!
We didn't use our Shop and Hop passes at all. We walked, took the subway, or a taxi. That was easier than the bus. I would not recommend purchasing that in the future...
The Phantom of the Opera was great and very good seats. My daughter is a drama major and she really enjoyed seeing a big show...
I have been recommending your company to everyone I know!!

I just had to write to tell you that we had the best time in NYC. The hotel was fantastic. Hilton Time Square. The room was big and beautiful and the location was just awesome. Right in the middle of everything. Friday, the American Girl Place was our first stop, no lines and wasn't busy at all. My daughter loved it....and my husband did too. Next stop was the Met...loved it. We had Rays NY pizza and then off to Toys R' Us. Great time riding the Ferris Wheel. Saturday, we did the Empire State Building, that was neat to see. A bit exhausting climbing the last 6 flights but the view is so worth it. Then we were off to Central Park at 5th ave and we got to see the Pope in his Popemobile. That was a bonus! Such a mixed bag of emotions being in the crowd. Then that night off to see Hairspray. Awesome!!!! Great and entertaining. We all loved it and to top it off, my daughter was able to get autographs from the cast. Sunday, took the subway to Battery Park and off to se e the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. That was fantastic and humbling too. We had a really great time I just can't say it enough.

The whole thing was the best part. My husband said it was the best 3 day weekend of his life. We only saw the Pope wave from his Pope mobile. However, we did get a picture. It was truly a memorable experience and would definitely call you when we are ready to do it again.

Throughout the entire tour I kept thinking that Chris had done these tours for years since he was soooooo knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. To my surprise when we asked how long he had been doing these tours he said it was his first day! He was non-less short of spectacular. I have gone on many tours,

Elaine and I wanted to give you the rundown of our trip to NYC in April.
We'll start at the beginning and go to the end! First of all, IT WAS
FANTASTIC! We would not have changed a thing!! Our flights were on
time and very accommodating. When we first arrived we took a taxi to
the New York Palace (this place was excellent!), unloaded our bags (our
rooms were ready) and hit the streets to shop. We were very pleased
with our dinner reservations at Patsy's. To keep from repeating myself,
we shopped and shopped and shopped!!! Saturday (after shopping) we got
ready for our dinner at The View, which was great, and then to the
theater to see Phantom. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed that! It
being our first Broadway show, I don't think we could have picked a
better one. We took taxis everywhere we didn't walk and was very
pleased with the fares, especially when we split them in half. We knew
our breakfasts and lunches we wanted to be typical New York, so we found
bagel shops and delis. We ate at the Carnegie Deli and talk about
wonderful!!! It was!! Our dinner cruise on Saturday night was so much
fun. There was a group of young people, probably in their early 20's,
who were celebrating having a grammar school reunion. (I've heard of
high school reunions, but never grammar school), but they kept the dance
floor hot!! The food was wonderful and the view, especially of the
Statue of Liberty at night, was breathtaking. The DJ played patriotic
music as we cruised by, and it really made us aware of the freedom we
enjoy. You said you had not been on the World Yacht Cruise -- well, we
highly recommend it. The only thing we did not get to do, was the
Empire State Building. The morning we planned to do that it was very
foggy, so we felt like we would not be able to see much. There's always
next year.
We definitely plan on making this an annual trip and we'll be using
your company again. Our only desire is that we will be able to stay at
the New York Palace again because, not only was it evident it was a
5-star hotel, it was definitely centrally located to everything we
wanted to see and do.
This was also the weekend that the Pope was in town. We even got to see
him in one of the motorcades, and that was not planned on our part.
We just happened to be waiting for Bloomingdale's to open and here he
came!! We are almost 100% sure he stayed at the Palace. There was
security like you wouldn't believe inside and outside the hotel. They
were even pressure washing the sidewalks and we knew they weren't doing
it for us!! We went into St. Patrick's Cathedral after all the
excitement had calmed down and that took our breathe away.
So.....you will definitely be hearing from us again next year as April
was the perfect time to go. We wanted you to know that we couldn't have
enjoyed ourselves more! Thanks for all your help and your wonderful
suggestions."
