Trains operate frequently throughout the day and total travel time from Newark Penn Station to Lower Manhattan World Trade Center is 22 minutes; travel time to Midtown Manhattan is about 35 minutes.
New Jersey Transit operates light rail trains from the Hilton Newark and Penn Station directly to Midtown Manhattan Penn Station. The current fare is $4 per person each way. Trains operate from early morning until well after midnight. Travel time is approximately 16-26 minutes.
